iPhone 2G 4GB – Jailbroken and UnlockedThis auction is for an as-is 4GB 1st-generation iPhone. The phone has been jailbroken and unlocked. The unit is being sold as-is due to an issue with the touchscreen. There’s a small area near the bottom that won’t respond to a touch. It’s illustrated by the red line in the pictures below. As you can see, it’s in a bad spot: the place and end call buttons
don’t respond, and it’s tough to type on the unit, in either landscape
or portrait view. It may be fixed by replacing the digitizer, but I’m selling the phone as-is with no guarantee. All other functions seem to work fine. The unit connects to EDGE, wi-fi, and bluetooth devices without any issues. Battery life seems fine – I haven’t ran it down all the way, but the drain seemed reasonable while I was testing the other features of the phone.The unit also has a couple of small dents and quite a bit of scratching on the back of the phone. The dents are also circled in the picture below. Note that the dent near the camera doesn’t affect the camera’s performance at all. The face and screen look very good.
